Minebea has expanded its manufacturing operations throughout the world
since the early 1970's. From the outset, all manufacturing operations have
supported our global markets with high-quality products. Minebea has obtained
ISO 9000 series certification for all manufacturing locations. The Shanghai Xicen plant - our main plant for DC fans - obtained ISO 9002 certification
in 1997.
Environmental Protection
Minebea values environmental protection as a critical area of
project development. Environmental preservation measures have been
incorporated at all of our manufacturing plants. In 1997, Minebea
led the way for the world's bearing manufacturers by obtaining ISO
14001 certification for our bearing plant in Japan. Efforts are
underway to obtain this certification for all manufacturing sites
worldwide. All of our fan and bearing plants in China are ISO 14001
certified.
