Protection from Shock and Vibration
The precision ball bearings used in the fan motor should be protected from excessive shock and vibration while handling. Care should be taken to avoid dropping the fans. Do not hold the fan by the lead wires

  Storage
To preserve bearing grease for the longest possible period, we recommend the following:
 Avoid storing for more than 6 months
 Avoid storing at high temperature or humidity
 Avoid storing in an environment containing harmful gasses

  Electrical Connection
Incomplete electrical connection made while the power is ON may damage the fan. Take proper ESD precautions while handling the fan to prevent damage to the motor IC.
