Wavy Nozzle

What is a Wavy Nozzle

The Wavy Nozzle gives you the ability to distribute coolant oil or air from the nozzle system in a fixed or reciprocating motion for productivity improvement of the cutting process.

Wavy Nozzle Benefits

  1. The benefit of removing chips
    • Decreases damage to the product
    • Increases processing precision
    • Prevents breakage of cutting tools
    • Decreases machine down time
    • Promotes continuous automatic operation of the machine

  2. Coolant oil is consistently directed to each tool correctly.

  3. Chips will not accumulate on the processing table.

Operation Mode

  1. FIX Mode
    Nozzle is fixed at adjustable angles.
  2. SWEEP Mode
    Nozzle sweeps in a uniformed motion from a programmed range of motion.
  3. KICK Mode
    Nozzle "kicks" in a rapid acceleration from a programmed range of motion.

Using a dedicated controller, the operation mode, angle and speed can be programmed into Wavy Nozzle's memory. (Teaching Playback)
Operators can call up the desired mode.
Operators can apply suitable Wavy Nozzle modes to each cutting tool.

e.g.) MM01 (Memory No.01) : Mode SWEEP, Angle 05~10, Speed 50
MM02 (Memory No.02) : Mode KICK, Angle 06~10, Speed 10

Simple Machine Monitoring System

The Wavy Nozzle iOS app can monitor machine conditions in real-time. Up to 50 machines can be registered.

Important point about wireless models
The wireless model can only be used in countries where this unit is wirelessly approved.

The wireless model option is currently available in the following countries:
Japan, United States of America, Canada, Europe (CE marking applied country), Thailand
